Atlantic Lean Network

The Atlantic Lean Network (ALN) is an industry-led, collaborative network in Ireland's West/North-West region, focused on promoting lean methodologies and continuous improvement to enhance business competitiveness. Part of the Lean Business Ireland (LBI) Community, we offer members—including manufacturers and service providers—networking, benchmarking, and training opportunities. Regional Focus & Mission:

• Primarily serves the North-West.

• ALN fosters collaboration to address shared challenges and share best practices in Lean principles. We are trying to bring these proven methodologies to all businesses across the region and across the entire island of Ireland

• Activities: The network hosts regular lean seminars, workshops, and site visits to enable members to learn from each other's experiences.

• Partnerships: Formed with industries and businesses who are on the Lean Journey, academic institutions, semi state bodies like LBI, Chambers of Commerce and working with consultants in the field of Lean (& six sigma) to drive shared Lean thinking, innovation and efficiency in the region and in Ireland.

South East Lean Network

The South East Lean Network helps public and private organisations from across all manufacturing and services sectors that have adopted or are adopting Lean Thinking & Practices to enable operational and enterprise excellence, and to sustain their competitiveness.

North-East Lean Network

Midlands Lean Network

The Midland Regional Lean Network will be an integral part of the Lean Business Ireland Strategy. Its aim is to bring together excellence in the region and to provide a forum to network, collaborate, and learn.

The network and its events will be for organizations at all stages of their Lean journey and of all sizes. Events will be focused and conducted in a timely manner, with site visits and seminars on topics as defined by the network.

The leadership team will be industry led and organizations are invited to form the 1st leadership team.

Mid-West Lean Network

The Mid-West Lean Network, launched in November 2016, was set up to strengthen and increase the existing culture of lean within the Shannon and the wider Mid-West region.

Its aim is to enable each industry to broaden and strengthen their competitiveness through knowledge sharing and bench-marking against each other and different industries. The network hosts a range of workshops and on-site visits annually, concluding with the headline end of year conference.

The network is always open to new members from any sector.

Dublin Lean Network

The Dublin Lean Network is a community focused on advancing Lean thinking and Continuous Improvement across Dublin and Ireland. Established in 2020, the network supports organisations at all stages of their Lean journey through practical learning, collaboration, and knowledge sharing.

Members benefit from company site visits, webinars, peer learning sessions, and networking opportunities across manufacturing, services, healthcare, logistics, and the public sector. What the Network Offers:

  2026 Programme

The 2026 programme includes company visits, expert-led webinars, and knowledge-sharing events designed to support Continuous Improvement capability development across organisations.The network continues to grow as a platform for professionals and organisations interested in operational excellence and Lean thinking.

South-West Lean Forum

The Southwest Lean Forum (SWLF) was created in 2018 by a working group consisting of representatives from educational, industry, government and public bodies.

The strategic goal is to create an industry led forum that facilitates the sharing of Lean system experiences and best practices for the benefit of all members in the South West region.
